New Location FOR ME at Cherry Blossom
The Cherry Blossom festival is just two weeks away - its the first Saturday in February in Waimea. Some of the blossoms are already out so I hope the rest of them can wait until February so we are covered in pink!
IMPORTANT: This year I'm no longer at the quilt show. Instead I'll be at the Kamuela Farmer's Market at Pukalani Stables. Its just one block behind the Parker Ranch shopping Center and an easy walk from all the activities. It opens earlier than the festival (7:30 am) and closes earlier (1:00pm).
UPDATE: The farmer's market will be an official stop on the Cherry Blossom shuttle bus so no need to walk to visit us. The bus will drop you off right at the market!
I'll be right upfront as you enter the market gate, sharing a booth with Lorane and her quilts. She has also moved from her spot at the Quilt Show to the Farmer's Market.
Here are directions for those not familiar with this market.

Looking forward to seeing all of you there. I'll have lots of scarves in various sizes and colors, shrugs, wraps and some new designs this year, plus socks and leggings to keep you warm.

Prepping for the Merrie Monarch Hawaiian Arts Fair
The Merrie Monarch Festival is just about six weeks away and I'm furiously trying to produce enough work for the four-day fair. This is my first time as a vendor at the show so I want to be prepared.
Here are some of the ohe kapala scarves we'll have available for sale. I did the dyeing on these and Amy did the stamping.
These are hand dyed silk crepe scarves hand stamped with a hand-carved bamboo stamp. Washable in cool water and a little shampoo.
Look for us in booth #61 in the Civic Auditorium!
